This full-time contract role is ideal for an SLP with a passion for helping learners achieve their communication goals. The position is based onsite, with accommodations for temporary virtual work if needed (30–60 days). Key Qualifications:

  • Active California Speech-Language Pathology license (CA SLP)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) issued by ASHA
  • Experience in school-based SLP services, especially with middle school students, is highly valued
  • Strong communications skills and a collaborative, student-centered approach
  • Ability to provide documentation of required licensure at the time of application

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students in accordance with individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Develop and implement evidence-based therapy plans targeting expressive and receptive language, fluency, articulation, and social pragmatics
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and other support professionals to promote student progress
  • Maintain clear and timely documentation on student interventions, goals, and outcomes
  • Provide consultation and support to staff and families to foster a communication-friendly environment
  • Participate in multi-disciplinary meetings and ongoing professional development
