Step into a fulfilling role supporting students from PreK through 12th grade for the upcoming 2026/2027 school year. This contract Speech-Language Pathologist position offers the opportunity to work full-time, making a meaningful difference in the lives of around 50 students. The assignment will commence on August 24th and wrap up on June 11th, with a steady schedule of 35 hours per week.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Possession of (or eligibility for) a current SLP license in Michigan
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP-CFY) accepted
  • Previous experience providing speech services in school settings is highly desirable
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills
  • Ability to manage a diverse caseload and adapt to varying student needs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech and language therapy services to a caseload of approximately 50 students across ages PreK–12th grade
  • Conduct assessments, develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and collaborate with staff and families
  • Track student progress, maintain appropriate records, and adjust interventions as needed
  • Work closely with educational professionals to support student goals
  • Attend IEP meetings and contribute professional insights for multidisciplinary teams
