Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current and valid state licensure as an SLP (or eligibility for licensure)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but CFY candidates will be considered
- Prior experience working in a school-based setting is highly desirable
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders among students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with other professionals
- Deliver direct and consultative therapy services to students in accordance with their IEP goals
- Track student progress and maintain accurate records of evaluations, treatments, and outcomes
- Provide guidance and resources to teachers and families to support student growth
- Participate in meetings and contribute professional expertise as needed
