Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology license, with Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC)
- Experience working in school settings, particularly with early childhood or elementary caseloads
- Strong knowledge of childhood speech and language development
- Ability to collaborate well with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary staff
- Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills
- Commitment to fostering a positive, supportive, and inclusive environment for young children
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy primarily through in-class (push-in) services, integrating with classroom learning
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students in PreK and Kindergarten
- Monitor student progress, maintain timely and thorough documentation, and contribute to IEP meetings
- Provide consultative support for teachers and families to generalize communication goals
- Adapt therapy materials and strategies to meet the diverse needs and abilities of early learners
- Participate in school-wide initiatives and professional development relevant to early childhood education
