Key Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Active Texas SLP license (please include an image of your license when applying)
- Flexibility to perform the full range of school-based SLP services—including therapy, ARDs, and testing—or focus solely on clinical supervision if desired
- Experience or comfort with middle and/or high school age groups
- Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 50–60 students
- Completion of fingerprinting for district credentialing (existing prints may qualify)
- Full-time availability for the 2026–2027 school year (37.5 hours per week)
- Commitment to in-person, on-site work throughout the contract period
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy to students in assigned grade levels
- Generate and maintain thorough documentation, IEPs, and assessment reports in compliance with district standards
- Collaborate with educators, staff, and families to support student progress
- Serve as a key contributor in ARD meetings, advising on speech and language interventions
- Perform evaluations and ongoing assessments to guide individualized treatment plans
- Offer clinical supervision for SLPAs, if this aligns with your expertise
