This on-site role focuses on providing specialized speech-language services to learners from grades 6–8 and 10–12. Your responsibilities will include delivering the full spectrum of SLP services across a mild-to-moderate caseload of 50–60 students. Duties span direct therapy, participation in ARD meetings, assessments, and evaluations, ensuring students achieve their highest communication potential.
Key Qualifications:
- Current and active Texas SLP license (Texas FL accepted).
- Experience within school-based SLP settings, particularly serving middle and/or high school students.
- Ability to handle a comprehensive SLP caseload: therapy, diagnostics, ARDs, and collaboration with educational teams.
- Comfortable with on-site service delivery; assignment locations matched to minimize commute.
- Ready to complete fingerprinting and any school district credentialing requirements prior to the start date.
- Availability for pre-screen and eligibility interviews as part of the selection process.
- Prepared to include a clear image of your active SLP licensure during application.
Responsibilities:
- Provide targeted speech and language therapy to adolescents in line with IEP goals.
- Conduct screenings, assessments, and participate in ARD processes.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to support overall student success.
