Step into a dynamic contract opportunity supporting students in middle or high school settings in the Houston area. This on-site role focuses on providing specialized speech-language services to learners from grades 6–8 and 10–12. The assignment is considerate of your location within the area, ensuring manageable commutes as part of a supportive, collaborative environment.

Your responsibilities will include delivering the full spectrum of SLP services across a mild-to-moderate caseload of 50–60 students. Duties span direct therapy, participation in ARD meetings, assessments, and evaluations, ensuring students achieve their highest communication potential.

Key Qualifications:

  • Current and active Texas SLP license (Texas FL accepted).
  • Experience within school-based SLP settings, particularly serving middle and/or high school students.
  • Ability to handle a comprehensive SLP caseload: therapy, diagnostics, ARDs, and collaboration with educational teams.
  • Comfortable with on-site service delivery; assignment locations matched to minimize commute.
  • Ready to complete fingerprinting and any school district credentialing requirements prior to the start date.
  • Availability for pre-screen and eligibility interviews as part of the selection process.
  • Prepared to include a clear image of your active SLP licensure during application.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide targeted speech and language therapy to adolescents in line with IEP goals.
  • Conduct screenings, assessments, and participate in ARD processes.
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to support overall student success.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with district and state regulatory standards.
