A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available at a school setting in Roseville, CA, on a contract basis. This role focuses on providing specialized speech and language services to pediatric and school-aged populations in an educational environment.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting comprehensive evaluations of students with speech and language disorders
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s needs
- Delivering targeted therapy sessions to support communication goals
- Monitoring and accurately documenting student progress throughout treatment
- Collaborating effectively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated care and support
- Engaging and educating families to involve them in the therapy and progress
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure to practice as an SLP in California
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience working with pediatric and/or school-aged populations is ideal
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Active license approved by the State Board of Speech Language Pathology in the state
