Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Active and valid Speech-Language Pathology license (California).
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP), or eligibility.
  • Experience in school-based settings preferred.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Dedication to supporting children and adolescents from various backgrounds.
  • Ability to adapt therapy sessions to individual student needs.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Assess and diagnose students with speech, language, voice, or fluency disorders.
  • Develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and document treatment progress.
  • Deliver targeted therapy through individual and group sessions.
  • Consult with teachers, parents, and specialists to support student goals.
  • Maintain accurate records according to federal and state educational requirements.
  • Engage in school community activities and professional development.

For this contract position, you will earn between $60 and $80 per hour.
