Desired qualifications and experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current or eligible state licensure as an SLP
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; consideration given to Clinical Fellows (CFY)
- Experience working within school settings or with pediatric populations
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to create IEPs, conduct evaluations, and deliver effective, individualized interventions
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech-language assessments for K-12 students
- Develop and implement targeted therapy plans, tracking student progress
- Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and other specialists to support student goals
- Maintain accurate documentation and participate in the IEP process
- Provide both individual and group therapy services as appropriate
- Offer consultation and training to staff on communication strategies in the classroom
