Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Round Lake, IL

An exciting contract opportunity is available for a speech-language pathologist passionate about supporting students in a dynamic educational environment. Key Qualifications:

• Active Illinois SLP license and Professional Educator License (PEL) required
• Strong Clinical Fellow (CF) candidates considered
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred but not mandatory
• School-based SLP experience or familiarity with K-2 caseloads is a plus
• Must be available to work onsite only
• Commitment to inclusive, student-centered practice
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech and language therapy to a caseload of nine K-2 students, focusing on individualized education plans
• Conduct evaluations, maintain documentation, and collaborate closely with special education teams
• Participate in student progress meetings, supporting families and educators with recommendations and strategies
• Attend and complete new hire orientation, scheduled from August 12th to August 14th
• Uphold confidentiality, ethical standards, and school district protocols at all times

Assignment Details:

• Tentative contract dates for the 2026-2027 school year
• 7 hours per week, offering flexibility for those seeking supplemental work or a lighter workload
• All services provided onsite within an engaging special education setting
