Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active CCC-SLP (Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology)
- Current licensure (or eligibility) for Illinois SLP credentials
- Previous school-based experience strongly preferred
- Solid understanding of IEP process and experience working with K-12 students
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Commitment to working fully onsite in a school setting
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Deliver speech and language therapy sessions to students
- Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and families to facilitate student success
- Maintain timely documentation and progress reports
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary teams
- Provide support and resources to staff and families as needed
