Set in a friendly community near Round Lake, IL, you will work alongside fellow educators making a real difference during the upcoming academic year, running from August 17, 2026, through May 27, 2027.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active CCC-SLP (Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology)
  • Current licensure (or eligibility) for Illinois SLP credentials
  • Previous school-based experience strongly preferred
  • Solid understanding of IEP process and experience working with K-12 students
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Commitment to working fully onsite in a school setting

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Deliver speech and language therapy sessions to students
  • Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and families to facilitate student success
  • Maintain timely documentation and progress reports
  • Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary teams
  • Provide support and resources to staff and families as needed

This full-time role offers a schedule of approximately 33.25 hours per week, aligning closely with the school day for exceptional work-life balance.
