Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as a speech-language pathologist or speech-language pathology assistant for the 2026-2027 academic year. This role will allow you to make a real difference in the lives of students ranging from Pre-K to 12th grade. Caseloads are manageable, with approximately 15-20 students, ensuring room for impactful, individualized interventions. Elementary schools have earlier dismissal times and hours can offer some degree of flexibility between 8:00 a.m. and 3:15 p.m.
Whether you are an SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY, or SLPA, your skills and commitment to fostering communication growth will be greatly valued. SLPAs will work primarily with elementary-aged students under the guidance and supervision of the current SLP, honing their skills as part of a supportive environment.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s or bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders (as appropriate for SLP/SLPA)
- Current state licensure (SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY, or SLPA status accepted)
- Experience in school-based settings preferred, but new graduates are considered
- Strong communication and organizational abilities
- Ability to collaborate with multi-disciplinary educational teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language services to Pre-K through 12th grade students
- Conduct assessments, maintain documentation, and develop Individual Education Programs (IEPs)
- Engage and collaborate with teachers, administrators, and family members
- For SLPAs: deliver therapy primarily at the elementary level under SLP supervision
