School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Round Mountain, California

This contract position offers the chance to provide impactful speech-language services within a school setting near Round Mountain, CA. Flexible scheduling is possible within the school hours of 8:00 am–3:15 pm, with elementary schools dismissing earlier.

This role is perfect for Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP) with CCC or CFY credentials, as well as experienced SLPAs interested in working primarily with elementary students under the supervision of a credentialed SLP. The manageable caseload consists of approximately 15-20 students spanning grades Pre-K through 12th, allowing for meaningful engagement and individualized support.

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Valid California Speech-Language Pathology License (SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY, or SLPA)
• School-based or pediatric experience preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaborative work with staff and families
• Ability to adapt therapy goals and strategies to meet unique student needs
• SLPA candidates must be able to work under supervision of a credentialed SLP

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students
• Develop and implement IEP goals and appropriate interventions
• Deliver engaging therapy sessions individually or in small groups
• Maintain accurate records and student progress reports
• Communicate effectively with teachers, support staff, and families to support student success
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute as an active team member
