Job Type Contract

Bring your expertise in speech-language pathology to a supportive school environment for the 2026-2027 academic year! This contract-based opportunity offers you the chance to work with a diverse caseload of approximately 15-20 students across Pre-K through 12th grade. Flexible hours are possible within school times of 8:00 AM to 3:15 PM, with elementary schools dismissing even earlier—making a great fit for those seeking balance in their weekly schedules.

Open to Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP), Clinical Fellows (CFY), Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) holders, and licensed Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPA). SLPAs will primarily support elementary-aged students under the guidance of an experienced SLP.

What we're seeking:

  • Active California licensure or ability to obtain it for SLP or SLPA
  • Experience with Pre-K through 12th grade, particularly with school-based caseloads
  • For SLP: CCC or eligibility for CFY, and comfort supervising SLPAs
  • For SLPA: Current licensure and in-person availability
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Dedication to supporting students’ communication needs in academic and social settings

Primary responsibilities:

  • Provide direct and consultative speech-language services for students on your caseload
  • Assess, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and families
  • Maintain thorough documentation and participate in IEP meetings
  • For SLPAs: Provide services primarily to elementary students as directed by supervising SLP

Benefits of this contract role include the ability to work a flexible schedule, smaller caseloads for individualized attention, and the opportunity to grow your skills in a dynamic educational setting.
