A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in a school setting in Round Rock, TX, serving students across grades K-12. This contract role involves providing specialized speech and language support to students in grades K-5, 6-8, and 9-12, helping them overcome communication challenges and achieve academic success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations for students in grades K-12.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address speech, language, and communication disorders.
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other education professionals to support student progress.
- Monitor and document student progress and adjust interventions as necessary.
- Support students in both classroom and therapy settings to enhance communication skills.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) certification or licensure required.
- Experience working with school-aged children across elementary, middle, and high school levels.
- Strong knowledge of speech and language development, disorders, and evidence-based intervention strategies.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to adapt interventions to meet diverse student needs.
