Help support students’ communication needs in a dynamic educational setting! We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide contract services for Kindergarten through 12th-grade students. As an SLP in this school-based role, you'll play a crucial part in empowering students to reach their fullest potential by delivering high-quality therapy and intervention. Collaborate with fellow educators and families to foster communication skills necessary for academic and social success.

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Valid license or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (Texas SLP certification required or eligibility)
  • Experience or practicum completed in schools preferred
  • Comfortable working with students in Grades K-12
  • Knowledge of evidence-based practices for assessment and intervention
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)

What You’ll Do:

  • Assess and identify students’ speech, language, and communication needs
  • Design and implement therapy plans tailored to individual student goals
  • Deliver direct and consultative speech-language services for students in K-5, 6-8, and 9-12 settings
  • Document progress and maintain compliance with school and state requirements
  • Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary teams, and ongoing faculty collaboration
  • Support the educational progress and well-being of all students on your caseload
