37.5 hours per week

Desired Qualifications:

  • Hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Licensed or eligible for licensure as an SLP in New Mexico
  • Previous experience in school-based practice preferred
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational abilities
  • Comfortable collaborating with multidisciplinary educational teams

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for speech, language, and communication disorders among K-12 students
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in partnership with staff and families
  • Conduct therapy sessions and monitor student progress in accordance with IEP goals
  • Maintain accurate documentation and participate in IEP meetings as required
  • Collaborate with teachers and other specialists to promote a positive learning environment
  • Adjust service delivery and classroom interaction based on caseload complexity and your professional expertise
