School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Roxbury, Massachusetts

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Valid license as a Speech-Language Pathologist – Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is required
• Bilingual in Spanish and English strongly preferred
• Other languages (Portuguese, Cape Verdean Creole, Haitian Creole, Vietnamese) are a plus
• Master’s degree in speech-language pathology or related field
• Eligibility for Massachusetts state licensure and Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) certification
• Previous experience delivering SLP services in K–12 settings preferred

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive speech and language evaluation and therapy for a K-12 caseload
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement IEP goals
• Maintain accurate records and required documentation in compliance with state and district guidelines
• Adapt communication and intervention strategies to suit diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds
• Participate in IEP meetings and progress reviews
• Caseload and specific school assignment for monolingual candidates are assigned after credentialing
