In this full-time, school-based travel role (32.5 hours/week) supporting K-12 students, you’ll directly impact lives and sharpen your professional expertise. This is an ideal adventure for SLPs who are monolingual or bilingual, with Spanish/English as a high priority, and other in-demand languages including Portuguese, Cape Verdean Creole, Haitian Creole, and Vietnamese.
Desired Qualifications:
- SLP or SLP-CCC credentials (ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence highly preferred)
- Experience working with children or adolescents in school settings
- Bilingual in Spanish/English (highest priority), or proficiency in Portuguese, Cape Verdean Creole, Haitian Creole, or Vietnamese is strongly valued
- Commitment to cultural competence and inclusivity
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech/language assessments for K-12 students
- Develop and implement effective, individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to support student progress
- Document progress and maintain required records in accordance with school and state guidelines
