A full-time contract opportunity is open for an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) who is passionate about helping students reach their communication goals. This position is based in a supportive educational environment and focuses on working with 8th and 9th graders. The assignment runs from August 24, 2026, through January 19, 2027.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
  • Valid state licensure to practice as an SLP
  • Experience with adolescent populations, particularly grades 8 and 9
  • Familiarity with school-based therapy and navigating IEP processes
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Comfort with both individual therapy and small group sessions

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Deliver in-person speech and language therapy to students in 8th and 9th grade centers
  • Provide both individual and group sessions, tailoring interventions to student needs
  • Manage a caseload of approximately 8-10 Speech Only IEP students, ensuring documentation and goals are met according to state and district regulations
  • Collaborate with teachers, other therapists, and families to maximize student progress
  • Utilize a 6-day cycle schedule, working from 7:30am to 2:30pm each day
  • Track students' progress, monitor goals, and participate in IEP meetings as needed
