Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist! This full-time position offers an engaging work environment across multiple elementary and intermediate grade campuses serving children in grades 4-7. You’ll play a pivotal role in supporting students’ communication skills and enhancing their educational experience throughout the school year.

Ideal candidates will have:

  • A valid Florida Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license (Master’s level required)
  • Eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not already certified (comfort working independently encouraged)
  • Experience or strong interest in working with school-aged children
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication abilities
  • Flexibility to work on-site across assigned locations

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing direct speech-language therapy to students based on individualized education program (IEP) goals
  • Evaluating, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication disorders
  • Collaborating closely with teachers, support staff, and families to ensure student progress
  • Maintaining accurate and timely documentation and reports as required by district guidelines
  • Traveling between multiple assigned schools, with caseloads varying by placement

This full-time contract runs from August 10, 2026, through May 27, 2027, with a consistent 35-hour work week. Placement at campuses and caseload assignments are managed on a first-come, first-served basis, offering flexibility and variety in day-to-day activities. On-site presence is required to foster meaningful support and relationships with students and staff.
