Speech Language Pathologist in Ruskin, FL

Step into a rewarding role providing speech-language services in vibrant school settings near Ruskin, FL. This full-time contract opportunity offers you the chance to support diverse student populations across two welcoming campuses, working alongside dedicated teams of professionals.

Starting as soon as possible and continuing through late May 2027, you’ll be assigned to both a middle school and an elementary school, enriching the lives of students from preschool through middle grades.

What you bring:

• Master’s degree and valid Florida SLP license required
• Experience with school-aged children or prior school-based SLP roles strongly preferred
• Ability to manage a varied caseload, including students in low cognitive, behavior, intensive preschool, autism spectrum disorder, integrated preK, ESE, and other special needs programs
• Strong collaboration skills to work with fellow therapists and staff
• A compassionate, organized approach to therapy, documentation, and communication

What to expect in your day-to-day:

• Deliver direct and consultative speech-language services to students (caseloads of approximately 50 at the middle school; about 95 total at elementary with team support)
• Develop and implement IEPs, conduct evaluations, and maintain thorough documentation
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, SLP colleagues, and paraprofessionals
• Participate in multi-disciplinary meetings and ongoing professional development
• Foster a positive and inclusive environment for every student
