Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcome
- Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Proficiency in assessment, diagnosis, and evidence-based intervention
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough speech, language, and communication assessments for students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s needs
- Collaborate closely with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student progress
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services, evaluations, and student progress
- Attend and contribute to IEP meetings, providing valuable input as a team member
- Offer consultation and resources to staff and parents regarding communication disorders
