Key qualifications and desired experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
  • Current SLP licensure (or eligibility for licensure) in the state
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) preferred; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates also encouraged
  • Prior experience working with pediatric populations in schools or healthcare settings highly valued
  • Skilled in teletherapy practices, with comfort using digital platforms for remote services
  • Strong ability to develop and implement individualized therapy plans
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and time management skills

Primary responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students in need
  • Develop and execute individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
  • Provide direct therapy services—in-person or via teletherapy—to address each student’s unique communication challenges
  • Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and participate in IEP meetings
  • Consult with teachers, families, and staff to support generalization of skills into the classroom and at home
  • Stay up-to-date on best practices and participate in professional development as needed
