Make a meaningful impact every day by providing essential speech and language services to students in a supportive school setting near Saco, ME. This contract position allows you to utilize your skills and creativity as an SLP or SLPA while partnering with a dedicated multidisciplinary team. You’ll engage directly with students, create individualized plans, and help families play an active role in each child’s progress.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct detailed evaluations for students with a variety of speech and language needs
  • Develop and implement personalized, goal-oriented treatment plans
  • Deliver engaging therapy sessions that address specific speech and language targets
  • Accurately monitor, track, and document each student’s progress and adjustments to therapy
  • Collaborate closely with other professionals—teachers, counselors, and specialists—to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care
  • Empower and inform families, supporting their involvement in the therapy process

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
  • Current or eligible state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • Experience working with pediatric or school-aged populations is valued
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as a collaborative partner

To be considered, you must hold (or be eligible for) an active license from the State Board of Speech Language Pathology and have earned a Master’s degree or higher in the field.
