Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Sacramento, CA

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with CCC certification. This engaging role is available immediately and continues through the end of the school year, offering a diverse mix of settings and student needs. You'll provide direct impact in both elementary and alternative high school environments, as well as with young adults transitioning to the community.

Your schedule is thoughtfully structured: two days per week serving elementary students in Rancho Cordova, one day dedicated to an alternative high school and 18-22-year-old community program, plus two days working with elementary schools in Folsom. Desired Background:

• Current CCC-SLP certification and state licensure
• Experience working in elementary and/or high school settings is highly valued
• Familiarity with diverse communication needs, including alternative and transition-aged students
• Strong understanding of evaluation, IEP development, and therapeutic interventions
• Effective collaboration skills with staff, families, and interdisciplinary teams

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and provide speech-language therapy to students in multiple school environments
• Develop goals and individualized education plans tailored to each student’s needs
• Support communication development for children and young adults, including those in vocational/transition programs
• Contribute expertise to multi-disciplinary teams, sharing insights for student success
• Accurately maintain records and reports for compliance and progress tracking
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and consultation as needed
