Speech Language Pathologist in Sacramento, CA

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
• Active California SLP license (or eligibility to obtain)
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong CF applicants are welcome
• Prior experience in a school-based or pediatric setting is highly valued
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage a caseload effectively and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams

Core Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students K-12
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans addressing each student’s IEP goals
• Deliver engaging therapy sessions, adapting techniques to each learner’s needs
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and other specialists to support holistic development
• Maintain thorough records and meet all documentation and compliance requirements
• Participate in IEP meetings, offering expertise to address student progress and needs
• Provide guidance and resources to educators and families as required
