Empower students to find their voice by making a difference as a contracted Speech-Language Pathologist in a supportive school setting. This part-time opportunity (approximately 7-10 hours per week) focuses on providing exceptional speech and language services for pediatric students, while collaborating closely with a dedicated SLPA to ensure each child's progress and success.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
  • State licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Prior experience in school-based or pediatric SLP settings
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills, with an interest in mentoring or collaborating with support staff (SLPA)
  • Passion for helping children achieve their communication goals within an educational environment

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and diagnose communication disorders in students
  • Design and implement individualized therapy plans based on each student’s needs and IEPs
  • Work collaboratively with an SLPA, offering guidance and professional input for optimal service delivery
  • Document progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings with families and multidisciplinary teams
  • Provide engaging therapy sessions that support a positive learning atmosphere for students
