Qualifications/Skills:

  • Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure in West Virginia
  • Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCC) preferred; CFY candidates considered
  • Experience or strong interest working in K-12 school settings
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat students’ speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Deliver engaging therapy sessions tailored to each student’s needs
  • Document progress and maintain compliance with state and federal guidelines
  • Provide training and support to teachers and families regarding communication strategies
