What We’re Looking For:

  • Current Florida state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
  • Completed Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Previous experience in school-based settings or with adolescent populations preferred
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, administrators, families, and other specialists
  • Strong assessment, planning, and documentation skills
  • Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive atmosphere for students

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Assessing and identifying students’ speech, language, and communication needs
  • Developing and implementing individualized therapy plans for high school students
  • Delivering direct therapy services, both individually and in groups
  • Monitoring progress and adapting strategies as needed to ensure student success
  • Maintaining clear and timely documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines
  • Consulting with educators and families to maximize student support and generalization of skills
  • Participating in student support meetings and contributing to IEP development

This contract position offers you the choice between two schedules: 2 days a week (16 hours) or 3 days a week (24 hours), both focused on serving high school populations.
