Speech Language Pathologist in Saint Charles, MO

This contract opportunity is an excellent fit for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) ready to work within an elementary school setting near Saint Charles, MO. The position begins as soon as possible and runs through the end of May 2027, providing a consistent, long-term placement.

You’ll primarily serve students at Lemasters Elementary in the Riverview Gardens School District, with the possibility of occasionally supporting another nearby school. The caseload involves a high volume of service minutes—including working with many non-verbal students who communicate with AAC devices. Flexibility is key, as assignment details may shift based on the district's evolving needs.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active Missouri SLP or SLPA license.
• Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting is preferred.
• Comfort working with non-verbal students and familiarity with AAC devices highly desirable.
• Ability to manage a dynamic caseload and adapt to changing circumstances.
• Successful completion of district requirements: fingerprinting (with TCN number submission) and technology form.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct speech-language services to assigned students according to IEPs.
• Document service minutes and student progress in compliance with state and district guidelines.
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student communication needs.
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions.
• Travel between one or two school sites as needed.
