Qualifications & Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
• Current state licensure or eligibility as an SLP
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred; Clinical Fellows (CFs) considered
• Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting highly valued
• Strong communication, documentation, and organizational abilities
• Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
• Compassionate, patient-minded approach to serving children of diverse backgrounds

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct screenings, evaluations, and assessments in accordance with educational requirements
• Develop individualized treatment plans and IEP goals tailored to student needs
• Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy services
• Monitor progress, maintain detailed records, and participate in IEP meetings
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and parents to optimize student outcomes
• Offer resource and support to staff regarding communication disorders and classroom strategies
• Stay current with best practices and compliance regulations in school-based speech therapy
