This position will serve students in a welcoming school environment near Saint Clair Shores, MI, for the upcoming academic year. Key Details:

  • Full-time contract: 37.5 hours per week
  • Academic year assignment: September 2, 2026 – June 10, 2027

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current SLP-CCC credentials required
  • State licensure to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Previous school-based SLP experience preferred, though not required
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
  • Commitment to student-centered therapy and individualized care

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students in accordance with their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments, evaluations, and progress monitoring
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and measurable goals
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support each child’s learning and success
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date documentation and participate in IEP meetings
  • Deliver therapy in individual and group settings, adapting approaches as needed
