Step into a remote contract role supporting students across Minnesota as a Speech Language Pathologist. In this flexible, school-based position, you’ll make a tangible difference in the lives of PreK-12th grade learners by assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech and language disorders. Work from anywhere while creating individualized education plans, providing direct therapy, and partnering with educators and families to foster student growth and communication.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competency required
- Active (or pending) Minnesota SLP license
- Minimum 2 years of school-based Speech Language Pathologist experience
- Knowledge of teletherapy platforms and basic technology skills (computer, webcam, internet connectivity)
- Ability to pass a technical screening and internet speed test
- Annual 500K/500K liability insurance coverage
- Experience with pediatric, healthcare, teletherapy, and/or interdisciplinary school team settings is a plus
- School-based CFY and SLPA candidates considered with appropriate credentials
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough speech, language, and communication assessments for students
- Develop and implement tailored treatment plans
- Provide virtual speech therapy sessions and related services via teletherapy platforms
- Collaborate closely with teachers, school staff, and families to support academic and social success
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation and monitor progress toward IEP and therapy goals
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
