Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCC-SLP)
  • Active or pending Minnesota SLP License
  • At least 2 years of previous school-based experience (required for remote work)
  • Experience working with pediatric populations
  • Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and remote therapy delivery
  • Strong knowledge of assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of speech/language disorders
  • Reliable computer, webcam, and solid technology skills
  • Able to pass technical screening and internet speed test
  • Current annual liability insurance (minimum 500K/500K coverage)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech and language disorders (PreK-12)
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Provide engaging direct virtual therapy and collaborate with school staff and parents
  • Document progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
  • Foster positive and supportive student relationships
