Step into an impactful position supporting students from preschool through 12th grade for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year. This is a full-time contract opportunity working 35 hours per week, beginning in late August and concluding in early June. Located conveniently near Saint Helen, MI, you'll work closely with a diverse caseload of 50 students, helping them access the communication skills they need to grow and succeed in the classroom and beyond.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) preferred, but strong Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP-CFY) candidates encouraged to apply
  • Previous experience or training working in a school-based setting is highly valued
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders for students ages PreK through 12th grade
  • Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and monitor student progress toward goals
  • Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to support student needs within the classroom
  • Maintain thorough and timely documentation in accordance with regulatory and district requirements
  • Provide support, resources, and guidance to families and classroom staff on speech and language development
