School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Saint Helen, Michigan

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students across PreK through 12th grade as a Speech-Language Pathologist. This full-time role offers a stable 35-hour work week, covering the entire 2026/2027 school year. You'll play a vital part in helping students achieve their communication goals by providing high-quality services to a manageable caseload of approximately 50 students. Starting in late August and running through early June, you'll collaborate closely with school professionals and families to make a meaningful impact.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Active or eligible Speech-Language Pathology license
• CCC-SLP or eligibility to supervise for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) considered
• Experience in school settings or with school-age populations preferred
• Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
• Commitment to supporting diverse learners and tailoring interventions to students’ individual needs

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and consultative speech-language services to students in PreK–12th grades
• Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for speech, language, and communication disorders
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation, including progress notes and IEP reports
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to promote generalization of skills
• Participate in IEP meetings, contributing expertise and supporting compliance with local and federal regulations
• Offer guidance and support to other professionals, and, if applicable, supervise CFYs
