Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a Speech Language Pathologist supporting students from PreK through 12th grade. This role offers the chance to make a tangible difference in the lives of children across multiple school sites near Saint Johns, FL, in an engaging itinerant assignment. With a set schedule of 35 hours per week (7 hours per day), you’ll join colleagues passionate about student growth and communication development.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
  • Active Florida Department of Health SLP licensure
  • Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred
  • Ability to work collaboratively across diverse teams and age groups
  • Flexibility to travel between assigned sites as needed
  • Must complete Florida fingerprinting requirements; prior prints via AHCA Clearinghouse may expedite the process

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and consultative speech therapy services to a caseload of approximately 60 students (mild to moderate needs, PreK–12; final details may vary by site)
  • Conduct evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and track student progress
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and other service professionals to support student IEPs and academic goals
  • Maintain thorough documentation and compliance with all district, state, and federal guidelines
  • Participate in school meetings and training sessions as required
