Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current and valid state licensure (CCC-SLP or CFY considered)
  • Previous experience working with children, especially in elementary (K-5) settings, preferred
  • Strong knowledge of assessment, intervention, and documentation methods
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Comfort using technology for assessments, documentation, and virtual meetings if needed

Key Responsibilities:

  • Screen, assess, and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students K-5
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals
  • Deliver therapy sessions one-on-one or in small groups, tailored to each student’s unique needs
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers, special education staff, and families to support student growth
  • Maintain accurate records and progress reports, complying with all state and federal regulations
  • Participate in IEP meetings, staff training sessions, and professional development opportunities
