Desired Experience and Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid and current state licensure or eligibility as a Speech Language Pathologist
  • Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred; new graduates with strong clinical backgrounds also considered
  • Previous school-based experience, especially with elementary ages, is highly valued
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Compassionate, patient, and adaptable to meet the individual needs of students

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate students using standard and alternative assessment tools
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
  • Provide direct therapy services to students with speech, language, and communication disorders

  • Document progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings
  • Offer proactive strategies and resources for educators and families to support classroom success
