Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Saint Louis, MO

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting elementary students as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in a school setting near Saint Louis, MO. This assignment runs from late October through early February, working with students in grades K-5. You’ll collaborate with another experienced, full-time SLP as you play a crucial role in speech and language development for your assigned students.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license for Missouri
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
• Previous experience working in an elementary school preferred
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with educational staff and parents

Primary Responsibilities:

• Manage a caseload of 6 students as case manager for the duration of the assignment
• Deliver direct services to a total of 38 students (19 with IEPs and 19 receiving interventions)
• Conduct evaluations, develop and implement IEPs, and monitor progress
• Collaborate with teaching staff, administrators, and the on-site SLP to ensure effective student interventions
• Maintain accurate documentation and timely communication with families
• Participate in meetings as needed to support student outcomes

Schedule Details:

• Work hours are 8:35 AM to 3:35 PM (please plan to arrive 15 minutes prior and remain 15 minutes after your scheduled time to support preparation and documentation)
