School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Saint Louis, Missouri

Step into an impactful contract position supporting students in the vibrant Saint Louis area as a school-based SLP or SLPA. This assignment runs through the end of the academic year and offers the unique opportunity to serve a diverse caseload at Lemasters Elementary, with possible support at an additional nearby school. You’ll play a key role enriching communication abilities across a variety of student needs—including those who are non-verbal and rely on AAC devices.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Hold an active Missouri SLP or SLPA license
• Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred
• Familiarity with AAC devices and non-verbal interventions highly desirable
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
• Willingness and ability to provide services at up to two schools if needed
• Capable of meeting time-sensitive credentialing, including fingerprint clearance and district technology requirements

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and consultative speech-language services to elementary-aged students
• Conduct assessments, develop goals, and document progress
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, support staff, and families
• Support implementation of AAC devices and strategies for non-verbal students
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with district/state regulations
