Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited university
  • Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) considered
  • Valid state licensure (or eligibility to obtain)
  • School-based SLP experience preferred but not required
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct screenings, evaluations, and assessments for speech-language disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
  • Provide direct therapy services to students with a variety of communication needs
  • Collaborate with general and special education staff, as well as families
  • Document progress and participate in IEP/eligibility meetings as needed
