Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Active SLP license (Missouri state licensure required)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but CFY considered
- Experience or strong interest in school-based or pediatric settings
- Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills
- Ability to work effectively within interdisciplinary teams
- Compassionate, patient, and adaptable in fast-paced environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, screenings, and evaluations for students with speech, language, voice, and fluency concerns
- Develop and implement individualized intervention plans in alignment with IEPs
- Collaborate with teachers, interventionists, families, and other specialists to support student goals
- Provide both direct and consultative therapy services
- Maintain timely, thorough documentation and progress reports
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student-centered decision making
- Offer strategies and resources to school staff and caregivers to reinforce carryover and skill development
