In this onsite, contract position for the 2026-2027 academic year, you’ll work 32 hours each week supporting students’ communication development and educational success.
Your expertise as a certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) will empower you to make a positive difference, designing and implementing interventions tailored to a variety of student needs. This assignment runs from August 24, 2026, through June 11, 2027, with a focus on collaborative, student-centered practice.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
- State licensure (or eligibility) to practice as a school-based SLP
- Prior experience in educational settings highly valued
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to build rapport with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Commitment to professional ethics and evidence-based practice
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy to students individually and in small groups
- Perform assessments to identify needs and develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Document student progress and provide regular updates to teachers and families
- Consult and collaborate with educators, support staff, and parents to promote students’ academic and social growth
- Offer training and resources to school personnel for inclusive communication support
- Contribute to a positive, responsive, and safe school environment
