Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Saint Paul, MN

Embark on a meaningful contract opportunity supporting students’ communication needs during the upcoming school year! A skilled Speech-Language Pathologist is sought to provide coverage for various leaves, rotating between Kindergarten–5th grade and 9th–12th grade caseloads through late March. This assignment ensures continuity of high-quality speech and language services for diverse learners in a collaborative school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy for students ranging from Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) to 12th grade.
• Rotate between elementary (K-5) and high school (9-12) caseloads as leave schedules require throughout the contract period.
• Manage a caseload of approximately 45–50 students, adapting interventions to meet varied communication goals and educational needs.
• Conduct assessments, create IEP goals, and contribute to the development of individualized educational plans.
• Collaborate closely with special education teams, classroom teachers, and families to promote students’ progress and participation in academic settings.
• Maintain consistent and clear documentation, reporting, and communication in accordance with school protocols.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• Hold or eligible for Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).
• Minnesota licensure for School Speech-Language Pathology (or willingness to obtain before start date).
• Previous experience in K-12 or ECSE settings highly preferred.
• Strong communication, adaptability, and collaboration skills.

Position Details:

• Contract position beginning August 24, 2026 and concluding on or around March 31, 2026.
