Step into an exciting opportunity supporting secondary and transition-age students as a Speech-Language Pathologist on a contract basis, beginning late August 2026 through early June 2027. Collaborate with passionate educators and have a meaningful impact on students navigating the high school and transition-to-adulthood journey. This rewarding role provides you with a consistent weekly schedule of 37.5 to 40 hours, working hands-on with an engaging caseload of approximately 50 students.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Hold or be eligible for Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Minnesota SLP licensure (or eligibility to obtain)
- Experience or strong interest in school-based service provision
- Strong interpersonal communication and organizational skills
- Demonstrated ability to work well with high school and transitioning youth
- Commitment to collaborative problem-solving within multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, plan, and implement individualized speech and language therapy for high school and transition-age students
- Develop treatment plans and deliver services aligned with IEP goals
- Collaborate with educators, parents/guardians, and related service providers to optimize student outcomes
- Document progress and maintain accurate reports in compliance with local and state requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team decisions
- Support student communication needs in both group and individual settings
