Embark on a rewarding contract position as a Speech-Language Pathologist delivering vital support to elementary students. Based near Saint Paul, MN, this full-time, full-school-year opportunity offers 37.5 hours per week and the chance to make a direct impact on young learners' communication development.

The role begins supporting a maternity leave at a dynamic elementary site, working alongside and assisting with coverage in partnership with Justice Alan Page. Following that, your expertise will provide essential coverage for upcoming leaves in other buildings, ensuring continuity of services across the district. If no coverage is required at any given time, your skills will be leveraged to provide compensatory services for students who received interrupted support during the year.

Essential qualifications include:

  • Current SLP-CCC credential
  • Prior experience working in school settings, particularly with elementary caseloads
  • Active Minnesota state license required
  • Commitment to fostering growth in diverse student populations
  • Excellent collaboration and communication abilities
  • Flexibility to adapt to evolving assignments and building locations

Key responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans aligned with each student’s needs
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure effective goals and strategies
  • Maintain detailed and timely documentation in compliance with district and state requirements
  • Support compensatory and standard service delivery across multiple elementary settings
