Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist supporting elementary learners on an engaging campus just outside Saint Paul, MN. With a part-time 0.6 FTE schedule (about 23 hours per week), you’ll split your expertise between two vibrant elementary buildings. Your focus will be helping students in Kindergarten through fifth grade strengthen their communication and language skills, enabling them to thrive in both the classroom environment and beyond.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active State SLP License required for school-based practice
- SLP-CCC certification highly desirable
- Demonstrated proficiency with assessment and intervention for school-aged children
- Experience in educational settings preferred, with comfort managing an evolving caseload
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and collaboration skills
Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and individualized therapy for speech, language, and communication needs
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, special education staff, and families to support student progress
- Develop IEP goals and deliver services as mandated by each student's plan
- Flexibly travel between two elementary sites, maintaining consistent communication and documentation
- Deliver both direct therapy and consultative supports within general and special education settings
