Desired Skills and Experience:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field (required for SLP roles)
- Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP), or eligibility for CFY
- Minnesota state licensure or ability to obtain prior to start date
- Experience delivering services in school settings, including K-12 populations
- Background in teletherapy is a plus for those comfortable with virtual service delivery
- SLPA candidates: Completion of an approved Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program and appropriate licensing/registration
- Passion for working with children and collaborating closely with educators and families
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and documentation skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language assessments and therapy for students according to their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Deliver services onsite and/or via teletherapy as needed by the school
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Develop and implement treatment plans and intervention strategies tailored to individual student needs
- Supervise or work alongside SLPAs as appropriate within the caseload
- Maintain accurate records, progress reports, and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards
- Participate in IEP meetings and assist with goal setting and progress monitoring
