This assignment begins as a full-time, full school year (FSY) position at 37.5 hours per week, focused on an elementary caseload and initially covering a maternity leave at one location through Thanksgiving. Afterward, your skills will be needed in other buildings for staff leaves, or to provide additional compensatory services, ensuring every student receives the support they deserve.

Qualifications:

  • Active Speech-Language Pathologist licensure in the state of Minnesota (MN)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • Previous experience in school-based settings highly desired
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities
  • Flexibility to move between different schools as needed

Responsibilities:

  • Provide evaluation, intervention, and therapy for students on an elementary caseload
  • Support students while covering staff leaves, including maternity coverage through Thanksgiving
  • Deliver compensatory speech/language services when not assigned to a leave position
  • Maintain clear documentation and work collaboratively with educators and families
  • Adjust to diverse school environments and adapt best practices as you go
