Apply NowStep into a rewarding role supporting students’ communication development with a contract Speech-Language Pathologist position for the 2026-2027 academic year. Offering full-time hours from 8:15 am to 3:30 pm (with a daily 30-minute lunch), you’ll help shape positive outcomes for your caseload of up to 45 students in a half-day program (AM/PM). This opportunity spans from August 17, 2026 through May 28, 2027 (dependent on calendar adjustments).
Ideal candidates are dedicated professionals passionate about working in a school setting, supporting learners through targeted SLP services. In this highly collaborative environment, you’ll engage with the IEP team, students, and educational staff to make a lasting impact―and receive hourly pay between $50 and $55 in recognition of your expertise.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current SLP license for the state or the ability to obtain one prior to the start date
- Experience providing school-based speech therapy services
- Strong understanding of IEP processes and compliance
- Excellent organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized speech-language pathology services according to each student’s IEP
- Develop and implement engaging weekly lesson plans focused on IEP goals
- Monitor, document, and report goal progress three times per academic year
- Serve as case manager for assigned students: create IEPs, schedule and chair meetings, and lead communication with families and staff
- Attend PLC meetings, participate in professional development, and fulfill arrival/dismissal responsibilities
- Collaborate with colleagues to support a positive, inclusive learning environment
