Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Saint Peters, MO

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist during the 2026-2027 school year. Two positions are open—a part-time role providing dedicated speech-language services in a structured half-day program (AM or PM), and a full-time, eight-week maternity leave coverage starting November 10, 2026. Key Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid Speech-Language Pathology licensure
• Eligibility for or possession of CCC or CFY
• Experience or strong interest in serving school-aged children
• Familiarity with developing, implementing, and monitoring Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with educators, families, and multi-disciplinary teams

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct speech and language therapy to students with IEPs
• Develop and implement weekly lesson plans focusing on IEP goals
• Monitor and document student progress, providing detailed reports three times per year
• Serve as case manager, scheduling and leading meetings with IEP teams
• Create and implement IEPs in compliance with district and program standards
• Participate in Professional Learning Community (PLC) sessions, professional development, and other required district activities
• Engage in arrival, dismissal, and other school routines as part of the team
• Adapt to other assigned duties as needed to promote student success

The part-time position runs weekdays from 8:45am to 10:45am, with a caseload of up to 45 students in a half-day program (AM or PM). Both roles offer a supportive environment and the chance to positively shape students’ communication and learning experiences.
