Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Saint Peters, MO

Step into an impactful contract opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) supporting students at the elementary level in the St. Louis area. Your expertise will help foster communication and growth for a diverse student population—including those who are non-verbal and utilize AAC devices—primarily at Lemasters Elementary, with the possibility of assisting at a nearby school as needs arise. This adaptable district values flexibility, as service demands may shift over the academic year.

Key Qualifications:

• Active Missouri SLP or SLPA license required
• Experience supporting elementary-aged students, particularly those with significant speech-language needs
• Familiarity with AAC devices and strategies to support non-verbal learners preferred
• Ability to adapt to changing caseloads and school assignments within the district
• Compliance with credentialing requirements, including fingerprinting (TCN number submission) and completion of a technology form
• Comfortable with video-based interviews for internal screening

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide speech and language therapy services in accordance with students’ Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Collaborate with special education teams and families to support student progress
• Document service minutes and track progress efficiently and accurately
• Maintain service delivery for approximately 3400 service minutes across assigned students
• Travel between one or two campuses as district needs may shift

This full-time contract (37.5 hours/week) runs from ASAP through late May 2027, offering a chance to make a lasting difference in a close-knit school community.
