Step into a rewarding role serving K-12 students for the full academic year as a contracted Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP). As part of a dynamic school-based team, you’ll work closely with onsite Teaching Assistants to provide comprehensive speech and language services, making a true difference in students’ communication skills and academic success.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid SLP license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC required)
- Experience supporting students in school settings, K-12 preferred
- Ability to tailor therapy techniques to meet diverse student needs
- Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills, working effectively with support staff and teachers
- Commitment to serving a full-time schedule across the school year
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy for a varied caseload of K-12 students
- Complete assessments, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and monitor progress
- Collaborate with teachers and teaching assistants to integrate therapy goals in the classroom
- Document sessions and maintain organized student records in accordance with school and regulatory standards
- Engage families and educational staff in supporting student communication development
