Bring your expertise in speech-language pathology to support early learners’ communication and academic growth. This contract opportunity offers both full-time and part-time positions, providing you with flexibility to fit your schedule. Selected professionals will serve K-5 students in a school setting, each assigned to a single location near the Salem, AL area for the 2026-2027 academic year.

What You'll Need:

  • Active and valid SLP or SLPA license/certification
  • Experience or strong interest in working with K-5 students in a school-based environment
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to adapt therapy techniques to meet diverse student needs
  • Familiarity with IEP planning, therapy documentation, and progress monitoring
  • Passion for empowering students and collaborating with educational teams

What You’ll Do:

  • Deliver speech-language therapy services to K-5 students in accordance with individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, or fluency disorders
  • Develop engaging therapy sessions tailored to individual student goals
  • Work closely with teachers, administrators, and families to report on progress and adjust plans as needed
  • Complete accurate and timely student documentation
  • Participate in IEP meetings, staff collaboration, and professional development as required

  • Contract positions: 1 full-time, 1 part-time
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 A.M. – 3:00 P.M.
  • Assignment dates: August 6, 2026 – May 21, 2027
  • Each position serves one school site
  • Caseloads to be determined
