Selected professionals will serve K-5 students in a school setting, each assigned to a single location near the Salem, AL area for the 2026-2027 academic year.
What You'll Need:
- Active and valid SLP or SLPA license/certification
- Experience or strong interest in working with K-5 students in a school-based environment
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt therapy techniques to meet diverse student needs
- Familiarity with IEP planning, therapy documentation, and progress monitoring
- Passion for empowering students and collaborating with educational teams
What You’ll Do:
- Deliver speech-language therapy services to K-5 students in accordance with individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, or fluency disorders
- Develop engaging therapy sessions tailored to individual student goals
- Work closely with teachers, administrators, and families to report on progress and adjust plans as needed
- Complete accurate and timely student documentation
- Participate in IEP meetings, staff collaboration, and professional development as required
