Speech Language Pathologist in Salem, NH

Make a meaningful impact supporting middle and high school students as a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist in a dynamic educational environment. This full-time contract opportunity offers a consistent Monday through Friday schedule, working 37.5 hours per week in person throughout the academic year, from August 24, 2026, to June 17, 2027.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Holds an active New Hampshire SLP license (NH Licensure)
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
• Direct, prior experience providing speech-language pathology services in school settings
• Knowledge of middle and high school student needs and Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills
• Experience with caseload management and multidisciplinary teams
• Must complete district-specific fingerprinting and background checks

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide therapy to students in middle and high school to address a wide range of speech, language, and communication needs
• Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students’ eligibility and need for services
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized therapy plans and IEP goals in collaboration with team members
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services, progress notes, and reports
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to foster student success
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to guide student programming
• Serve as a resource for staff regarding communication strategies and supports
